She listens, watches and waits
For time to change and her heart to heal
Her mind is blank, her life stands still
She longs to feel
She longs to love
She is hopeful and lost
Not willing to be bought, at anyones cost
Not willing to be a part of anyones game
Hoping and wishing... they can't all be the same
To say they love you, pretend that they care
Then use you, and leave you
Calmly walk away and look for someone elses heart to lead a stray
My soul burns
And the pages of my life turn one by one away each day
Knowing in the end it has to be okay
Someone else will come along
Someone different, but I could be wrong, for sadly
They all turn out the same
But Im changing, Im learning, Im growing
I just want to be loved for me, and to love someone back
My hearts been broke so many times before,
I just want to find the one, who wont do this anymore
Some one to ease my fears and wipe away these tears
to hold me in his arm, his heartbeat, and the softness of his skin, and the strength in his arms
